The hotel room was ready for us and there was no problems with the check-in. The young man working the front desk was pleasant and very helpful. The room was clean and on the first floor, we were able to park in front of the door a feature my husband likes. I chose this hotel based on the comments of others that had stayed here and the comments of people who had stayed at other hotels in the area. It was rated higher and the comments were more favorable, so I decided to give it a try. It did not disappoint me. Overall this was a 1-2 star hotel/motel which nicely met my expectations for a very reasonable price with a better than expected complimentary breakfast that our kids would like if they were with us. We were put into the basement. We were not very pleased with the bathroom, after flushing the toilet it splashed quite a bit of water on to my foot. No internet, no microwave, no clothes iron. Hotel is centrally located in Sturbridge near Mass Turnpike and Route 84. Deluxe king room was large and clean, no musty odor; decor was for an economy hotel and did not fill room, but room rate was good. Bathroom was very tiny: difficult to close door while in the bathroom because toilet was in the way. ...read more
